Bandhoo is digitizing India’s USD 650B construction sector through an AI-powered labor and tendering marketplace, paired with SaaS tools that bring transparency, compliance, and workforce welfare to an industry still run on pen and paper. It has enabled over INR 7,000 Cr (USD 800M+) in tenders, onboarded 300,000+ workers, and serves projects across Tier 2 and 3 cities. Bandhoo brings MSME contractors online by solving fair wages, proximity-based job matching, and timely payments. Its Constra product is a state-of-the-art, AI-first construction monitoring system that combines visual intelligence with real-time, camera-based project tracking and workflow automation for contractors.

Bandhoo was founded by Prashant Gupta and Dr. Sridhar Sundaram. Prashant is an IIT Delhi Computer Science graduate and an IIM Ahmedabad PGDM, and spent about 12 years as a Partner at McKinsey advising clients across consumer, technology, infrastructure, telecom, commodities, and financial services in India. He also served as CEO of Emaar India. Dr. Sridhar is an IIT Delhi alumnus with a PhD in Computer Science from Cornell University, and has held senior engineering roles at Google in the US and India. He previously founded MazaLearn, an EdTech startup focused on interactive learning, and has architected and built Bandhoo’s core technology.
