Artificial Intelligence has transformed how we create, and is also reshaping what it means to be a creator.
At Capria Ventures, we believe the best innovation happens where technology and human intention meet. That’s why we teamed up with the Museum of Art & Photography (MAP) in Bengaluru: to see how AI can go beyond just helping us work faster and actually become a creative partner that changes how we think, feel, and create.
As part of this project, Capria sponsored project SANGAM CANVAS, an experiment by MAP’s AI Fellow, Pranav Chellagurki. The video explores what happens when AI moves from copying human creativity to reimagining cultural and visual memory. The results can be unsettling at times, and surprisingly poetic at others.
Reimagining the creative process through SANGAM CANVAS — An experiment by Pranav Chellagurki, MAP AI Fellow, sponsored by Capria Ventures.
AI helps us work faster, but finding true meaning remains a challenge. What really counts is your point of view — how you shape ideas, pick references, and add emotional or cultural meaning to your work.
The experiment serves as both an artistic exploration and a philosophical inquiry into the future of creativity, where humans remain the directors of meaning, even as machines accelerate the act of creation.
The experimental film is part of the MAP AI Fellowship, supported by Capria Ventures. The program encourages young artists and technologists to see AI as a creative tool instead of a rival.
The fellowship focuses on three main goals:
AI will keep evolving, and so will we. The real revolution begins when we rethink what it means to ‘create’ in the age of AI.
