Capria Ventures is nearing the close of its third flagship India fund. This fund is investing in Jobtech, AI SaaS, Fintech, Healthtech, and Agritech — sectors that are not only exciting and important but also rapidly growing within India’s startup ecosystem. We’re focused on startups leveraging Applied AI to build bigger, next-generation businesses rapidly. We’re looking for a rockstar Senior Analyst to join our team in Bangalore.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing, Screening, and Closing Investment Opportunities:You will be involved in sourcing, evaluating, and closing deals to ensure we make the best investments. This includes building and maintaining relationships with, and contributing value to, the venture capital and startup ecosystem.

• Portfolio Management & Exits: You will work closely with portfolio teams to help them in realizing their full potential, including strategic decisions, improving unit economics, hiring & retaining the best talent, raising capital, finding and facilitating exits at the right time, and more.

• Marketing: You will be responsible for working with Capria’s marketing team to enhance Capria’s visibility and brand across the continent through a “portfolio first” approach, as well as helping create the right content to support portfolio growth.

• Ecosystem Development: You will build connections in the industry and with ecosystem stakeholders.

Relevant Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates for the Senior Analyst role should have demonstrated the ability to understand and evaluate markets, companies, and technologies rapidly.
• Graduate from a Tier 1 college in India or abroad (IITs, BITS, SRCC, etc)
• Self-driven with a knack for working in a small team, exceptionally personable, intellectually fierce, and task-oriented
• 1-3 years of work experience, having analytical, research, communication, and presentation skills
• Passion for early-stage startups and entrepreneurship
• Technical and/or operational experience is a plus. CFA L-1 preferred.

Additional Information:

Our firm has globally adopted a hybrid home/office model, which is still evolving; you should anticipate spending ~4 days per week in our offices in Ulsoor (Bangalore).
