James is a SEA Investment Fellow passionate about supporting and learning from innovative entrepreneurs across the region.

Prior to joining Capria, he served as a strategic lead in the F&B/ retail industry in Jakarta and gained diverse experience through internships in think tanks, venture capital and management consulting across multiple countries.

He holds a B.A. from Waseda University in Tokyo and a dual Master’s in Public Policy, specializing in Digital Policy, from Sciences Po Paris and the University of Tokyo.

Outside of work, James enjoys listening to podcasts, reading novels, and exploring food. He is also a longtime Manchester United fan.
