Bharti Gupta Ramola is a seasoned finance and consulting leader with a distinguished career spanning over three decades. She was a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) India from 1992 to 2017, where she played a pivotal role in establishing advisory practices in corporate finance, project finance, infrastructure, sustainability, and change management. She also led PwC’s early initiatives on climate change and carbon transactions, shaping the firm’s approach to sustainability.
In the last five years of her tenure at PwC, Bharti was part of the Management Team in India, overseeing Marketing and Brand Strategy while leading PwC’s Financial Sector business across all verticals.
Beyond PwC, Bharti serves as an Independent Director on the boards of HDFC Life Insurance, SRF Ltd., and Tata Steel Ltd. She is actively involved in impact-driven initiatives, serving on the Governing Body of Lady Shri Ram College, the Board of Villgro Innovations Foundation, the GP Advisory Board of Unitus Impact Fund, and the Advisory Council of Transforming Rural India Foundation.
Bharti began her career at ICICI Bank and later worked at the Nehru Foundation for Development before joining PwC in 1984. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi.
