Will Poole is a serial entrepreneur and seasoned VC with over 30 years in the global startup ecosystem. He’s the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Capria Ventures, a firm managing $200M+ in AUM across the Global South — from São Paulo to Bangalore — with a newly launched $100M India Fund III backed by Raj & Indra Nooyi, Bill Gates (via his family office), and Godrej Industries.

Will and his team made Applied AI a core investment focus just days after ChatGPT launched in 2022, and have since built an in-house AI team to help portfolio companies prototype and scale AI-powered solutions. Founders and investors alike often say, “We haven’t seen any other VC doing this.”

He’s also the co-author of the upcoming book “Flourishing with AI” a practical guide for professionals navigating AI-driven workplace transformation.

Earlier in his career, Will was a Corporate VP at Microsoft, leading the $13B Windows business and spearheading emerging market strategies. He previously co-founded eShop (acquired by Microsoft) and played a key role in Sun Microsystems’ early growth.
