About the Role
Capria is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Fellow, Investment Operations, to join our Bangalore office. This role is ideal for someone transitioning from an internship who is ready to take on expanded responsibilities in supporting the investment operations function. The analyst will focus on maintaining high-quality investment and portfolio data, supporting investment operations processes, and contributing to reporting deliverables for both internal and external stakeholders. This person will demonstrate extreme ownership over their assigned responsibilities and be highly responsive and supportive to requests from internal stakeholders.

Supporting the Investment Operations Analyst (and the organization as a whole) in these Key Responsibilities
- Investment Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date investment and portfolio data in Capria’s systems.
- Preparation of quarterly, half-yearly, and annual LP reports, ensuring timely and accurate data entry and updates.
- Manage and ensure complete, accurate, and high-quality financial, impact, and ESG data.
- Portfolio and Valuation Support
- Support the investment operations team with portfolio analysis and updates for internal meetings, fundraising materials, and marketing.
- Assist in preparing materials for impact, ESG, and special investor reports.
- Systems & Process Support
- Help maintain reporting templates, systems, and dashboards, collaborating with the Operations Associate, the AI Innovation team, and global team members.
- Coordinate with regional teams and fund managers to collect and verify investment and portfolio data.
- Compliance & Transaction Support
- Support post-transaction data management, follow-ups, and documentation to ensure compliance.
- Assist in monitoring investment compliance and addressing inbound data or information requests.
- Valuations & Audit Support
- Provide data and administrative support to the Operations Associate and investment team during quarterly valuations and fund audits.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience (internship or early career) in data analysis, investment operations, finance, or reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
- High attention to detail and comfort working with large datasets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and follow up persistently to close data gaps.
Nice to Have
- Exposure or interest in venture capital, private equity, or asset management operations in India and globally.
- Familiarity with portfolio management systems, databases, or SQL.
- Experience in fund administration, supporting audits, valuations, or investor reporting.
Location: Bangalore, India
